Join us and become part of a team that truly cares about making a difference **The Opportunity**: Bergsma Cleaning Service seeks dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Part-Time Cleaners. This position offers an initial commitment of 15 hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity for those looking for flexible work arrangements or to supplement their income. **Key Accountabilities**: - Perform general cleaning duties in residential and commercial settings - Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors - Polish furniture and vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture - Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchens - Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly - Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels - Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals - Report any damages or maintenance issues to supervisors **Required Qualifications**: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Reliable transportation to travel between job sites - Ability to communicate effectively in English - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - Successful completion of a criminal check **Physical Demands**: - Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods - Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds - Comfortable working with various cleaning equipment and chemicals - Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently throughout the workday **We Offer**: - Competitive hourly wage: $20-$23 per hour, commensurate with experience - Paid mileage - Flexible scheduling - Cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products - Company branded t-shirt - On-the-job training and growth opportunities - Safe and supportive work environment - Clear communication channels with management - Regular team-building activities and social events **We’re excited to hear from you Here’s how to apply**: Prepare your resume highlighting your relevant experience and availability.
