The Job
- Prep Cooks Needed for a High-Volume Food Production Operation. We manufacture Handmade, Hand-Packaged Soups, Stews, Stocks and Broths.
Daily tasks will be assisting the Cook in the preparation of ingredients for high-volume soup production. Hand chopping and dicing vegetables and proteins, roasting and poaching of foods, par-cooking pastas and starches, use of commercial kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of work spaces, sweeping, mopping, handwashing pots/pans/kettles and use of commercial dishwashing equipment.
Previous kitchen experience required.
Customer facing, POS, Cash Handling, Spreadsheet experience an asset.
