**Title**: Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (INTERNAL ONLY)
**Salary**: $125,708 - $147,891- $170,075 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 8:30am - 4:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Monday-Friday)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver - Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
**About the role**
As the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for directing the development and management of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and the on-going monitoring and control of expenditures through-out the year. The key areas for leadership and active involvement and accountability will include multi-year forecasting; developing and recommending principles, processes and guidelines for budget preparation; operations and capital planning; coordination of new initiatives; process redesign; and providing financial planning expertise to budget holders.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have
- **Education**
- Graduate of recognized accounting program such as CGA, CMA or CA with 10 or more years of related experience managing the financial planning operations in a unionized environment or an equivalent combination of education, training experience
**Experience & Competencies**
- Experience working with BC First Nations organisations in a financial capacity
- Experience in managing and developing a team in progressively responsible leadership roles
- Experienced in financial and business processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including the use of technology
- Highly proficient in MS Excel and Accounting Software
- Customer focus and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize in an environment with competing demands

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
