**General Summary.....**

The primary function of the warehouse worker - battery maintenance is to service the fleet of forklift batteries and chargers.

**This position will be responsible for.....**
- Maintain the fleet of forklift batteries and chargers;
- Update the usage list for batteries and chargers;
- Ensure the cleanliness of the battery charging areas;
- Support other trades when required;
- Maintain an efficient, clean and safe working environment in accordance with FedEx Supply Chain and CSST client standards;
- Complete various monitoring and control reports, as required;- Perform all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management;

**You might be a great fit if.**- High School Diploma or equivalence;- One to two years of work experience in an industrial environment;
- Ability to maintain a list of uses (batteries / chargers);
- Knowledge of the WHMIS program;
- Great sense of customer service and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a computerized environment;
- Ability to operate motorized rolling stock;
- Warehouse environment. Exposed to variable temperature conditions;
- Ability to work standing for long periods;- Day or evening schedule;

- Ability to follow policies and procedures.- Ability to read, write and interpret information.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.- Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.- Ability to lift/carry items less than 25 pounds.
