Hygge Design House is a locally owned Scandinavian-inspired furniture and décor brand based in Vancouver. Our passion lies in creating warm, stylish, and functional spaces that bring comfort and joy to every home. With a flagship location and an expanding presence online, we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to elevate our brand’s digital presence and connect with design-savvy audiences.
- Has a keen eye for design, with a strong understanding of Scandinavian aesthetics and design trends.
- Excels in creating compelling and stylish sales and marketing messaging.
- Demonstrates excellent writing skills, with experience in creating engaging and brand-aligned content.
- Has a proven portfolio of web content, social media posts, videos, and other marketing collateral.
- Is proactive, self-directed, and takes initiative to deliver results with mínimal supervision.
- Communicates effectively with team members and external collaborators.
- Is comfortable and confident in front of the camera for storytelling or promotional content.
- Has relevant experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.

Position Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage multiple social media accounts, creating cohesive and visually appealing feeds.
- Plan, create, and post engaging photo and video content that reflects Hygge’s Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic.
- Write captivating captions and blog content that aligns with our brand’s voice and values.
- Monitor social media channels, respond promptly to messages and comments, and foster positive interactions with followers.
- Stay updated on major social media algorithms and trends across platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Build strong product knowledge to authentically present our furniture and décor collections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social content aligns with marketing goals and campaigns.
- Reach out to influencers and affiliates to expand brand reach and visibility.

Key Competencies:

- Exceptional proficiency in English: written, verbal, and reading comprehension.
- Aesthetic sensibility with an understanding of Scandinavian and modern design principles.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp is a strong asset.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong project management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Eligible and flexible to travel internationally if required.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
