**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Use of various power tools used in framing and construction field
- Framing and some concrete forming
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, and join building materials
- Maintain and repair residence and wooden/ steel structures in apartments, condos, townhouses, and other establishments.
- Fit and install interior trim, doors, molding and hardware; install exterior trim
- Install any kind of flooring, windows, doors
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
- May prepare cost estimates for clients.
- Other related duties.

**Qualifications**
- Proven 3-5 years experience as a Carpenter
- Must have completed at least High School
