Toronto, Canada Howard Park Tennis Club Full time

Howard Park Tennis Club is a seasonal community tennis club in the High Park area with more than 600 club members and 7 outdoor tennis courts. We are generally open from mid April to the end of October.

We are looking for at least one Court Attendant. This person will be responsible for the tennis club's day-to-day operation by performing facilities maintenance and administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness of tennis courts through tasks such as leaf blowing or vacuuming, squeegeeing wet surfaces, and power-washing as needed.
- Monitor court bookings to ensure adherence to club rules and policies by members.
- Keep the clubhouse and its washrooms in satisfactory condition, occasionally performing light housekeeping duties.
- Utilize the club's management system and cloud documents for administrative tasks, including data entry and maintenance.
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Gmail and Google Drive features and functions.
- Proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Sound judgment and willingness to learn.
- Capacity to work well in a small team environment and follow direction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in customer service is highly valued.
- First Aid Training is considered an asset.
- Availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays is a must.
- Lifting objects (up to 25lbs.) may be required.
