The Inventory Coordinator is located on site and typically reports directly to the Project Manager.

Inventory Coordinators plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate inventory for project needs in collaboration with the Yard Coordinator.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support Project manager in day to day inventory actives
- Close communication and coordination with yard coordinator
- Manage & maintain inventory levels to required levels
- Periodic review & adjustment of inventory min/max levels as work levels fluctuate
- Analyze JDE inventory reports & assess needed inventory material to be replenished
- Create material requisitions for inventory ordering & coordinate with admin staff to place orders
- Physically receive incoming deliveries and organize materials in yard in conjunction with yard coordinator
- Utilizing vendor packing slips, update JDE inventory receiving & post batches
- Coordinate with field crews & compile inventory replenishment packages for crew pickup
- Coordinate with procurement & vendors in fulfilling orders and following up on shipment issues
- Learn & manage full inventory process.
- Coordinate periodic inventory cycle counts & work with finance to update JDE accordingly including afterhours work
- Periodic review of process flow mapping & updating as required
- Document control
- Provide monthly inventory report to division manager and project manager

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering

**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- 2 years of experience in the construction sector or inventory coordination

**SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS**

Proficient user of:

- MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- JD Edwards knowledge would be considered an asset
- Valid Ontario “G” Driver's License is required
