**Frontenac Property Management** is a locally owned and operated company in Kingston, Ontario. We are a full-service property management company committed to continually improving the rental experience for the investment property owner as well as the tenant. **Your roles and responsibilities will include**:
- Maintaining computerized filing system
- Entering vendor invoices accurately and processing payments in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Billing maintenance staff hours
- Rent collection including follow up on overdue tenant accounts
- Preparation of deposits for electronic payments received
- Issuing tenant rent receipts on request
- Collaborating with other departments (maintenance, leasing)
- Processing lease financials for new tenancies and closing of lease financials at the end of tenancies
- Diploma in a Business area of study or equivalent courses
- 1+ year(s) Bookkeeping / Accounting experience preferred
- Possess strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
- 1+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Capacity to anticipate needs within the accounting department
- Superior organizational skills; ability to multitask and effectively prioritize competing demands
- Consistent attention to detail
This is a full time position (40hr per week) Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
