**JOB SUMMARY**:
Vexos is looking for reliable, committed, and hardworking co-op students willing to complete an 8, 12, or 16-month placement Vexos will provide learning and professional continuous development career path opportunities and will support training and mentoring partnerships with our co-ops during their terms.

As a Finance Assistant Intern, you are responsible for supporting and assisting the Finance Team on administrative and clerical tasks as assigned. You will be reporting directly to the Site Controller.

The Finance Assistant will be working during Office Hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM). Flexible schedule option is available.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in posting of invoices on a timely and accurate basis for Accounts Receivable/Payable team
- Assist in cheque runs/processing
- Ensure supplier invoices are filed away safely in a timely manner
- Assist in processing and reconciliations of monthly credit card statements
- Other duties/projects as assigned by Senior Accountant/Controller

**EDUCATION, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Some AR/AP related work experience is an asset, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing industry
- Working knowledge of SYSPRO and CONCUR is an asset
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including V-lookup, pivot tables etc.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Reliability and strong work ethics
- Police Background check is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 8 months
