BARTENDERS

We are seeking highly motivated, engaged and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working in a loud sports bar atmosphere. This state of the art new concept sports bar is truly a one of a kind in the heart of downtown Toronto.

This sports bar is located on Yonge and College making it accessible to public transit which runs 24/hrs a day.

BARTENDERS | Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

SERVERS | Position

At Hoops Sports Bar & Grill the ATMOSPHERE is everything. Do you love sports? If you answered yes, then look no further We are looking for servers to be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Clear tables and support back of the house staff

Training will be provided based on your skills and experience. There are multiple roles we are hiring for from management, servers, bar tenders, shift managers and front of the house staff. Whether you'd like to work part time or full time, we have several opportunities available.
