CNC Lathe and Milling Operator

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Inspect machine and complete startup checklist
- Reading production travel tags
- Selecting and adjusting programs for product to be manufactured
- Loading board material from CNC operation using a vacuum lifter
- Visual inspection of completed product by using the appropriate tooling ie.(measuring tape, caliper etc.)
- Installing inserts into completed product
- Changing tooling on machine as needed
- Obtaining, loading and/or changing edging material to and from magazine on CNC operation
- Perform other related duties as requested
**Employees responsibilities include but not limited to the following**:
- Responsibility to work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations
- Responsibility to use personal protective equipment and clothing as directed by the employer
- Responsibility to report workplace hazards and dangers
- Responsibility to work in a manner as required by the employer and use the prescribed safety equipment.
- Identification and reporting of hazard(s) in their workplace
- Report any incidents, injuries requiring first aid, health care, lost time injuries or occupational diseases
- Use equipment, materials, and machinery only as authorized
- Follow general safety rules
- Report on the performance of their workstation including any issues and/or opportunities for improvement involving the quality of product, health & safety and the environment
- Maintain focus on the customer’s needs and expectations
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of secondary school grade twelve(12) or equivalent
- Ability to read production orders or drawings (preferred)
- Previous experience with related woodworking machines
**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- Overtime pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- CNC Lathe Operator: 1 year (preferred)
- CNC Milling Operator: 1 year (preferred)
