**Job Brief**:
Air Canada Vacations is hiring a Manager, Financial Reporting. / Vacances Air Canada recrute un/une Chef de service, information financière.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the financial reporting cycle, including leading and reviewing the work of a team of three financial analysts who prepare financial analysis & journal entries;
- Review and preparation of balance sheet and P&L accounts;
- Review accounts reconciliations prepared by the financial analysts;
- Preparation and documentation of monthly financial statements and reports for management review;
- Analyze financial results and provide business insights to management;
- Manage internal and external audits and answer questions from Regulatory institutions;
- Participate in the cash planning and treasury management activities;
- Participate in the annual Budget process and quarterly Outlook;
- Administrative invoice: reviewing, authorization and ensuring compliancy with the delegation of authorities that pertains to Air Canada Vacations;
- Performing Ad-hoc analysis and other tasks as requested by Senior leader team
- Participate in process improvement projects;
- Prepares accounting memo for new accounting standards and business perspective;
**REQUIREMENTS**
- CPA designation;
- Related work experience - 7 to 10 years;
- Extensive knowledge of the complete accounting cycle;
- Bilingual;
- Proficiency in Excel, Word & Power point;
- Experience in the leisure travel industry would be an asset.

- Gérer le cycle de comptabilité financière, notamment en dirigeant et en examinant le travail d’une équipe de trois analystes financiers qui préparent différentes analyses financières et écritures de journal;
- Revue & préparation de comptes de bilan et de résultats;
- Examiner les réconciliations comptables préparées par les analystes financiers;
- Préparer et documenter des états financiers mensuels et autres rapports financiers pour la direction;
- Analyser les résultats financiers et fournir un sommaire des affaires à la direction;
- Diriger les audits internes et externes et répondre aux questions des organismes de réglementation;
- Contribuer à la planification de la trésorerie et aux activités de gestion de celle-ci;
- Prendre part au processus budgétaire annuel et aux prévisions trimestrielles;
- Examiner et autoriser les factures administratives ainsi qu’assurer leur conformité avec la délégation de pouvoirs qui se rapporte à Vacances Air Canada;
- Effectuer des analyses diverses et d'autres tâches à la demande de l'équipe de direction
- Participer à des projets d’amélioration des processus.
- Produire des mémos comptables pour les nouvelles normes comptables;
**EXIGENCES**
- Titre de CPA;
- Expérience professionnelle connexe - 7 à 10 ans;
- Connaissance approfondie du cycle comptable complet;
- Bilinguisme;
- Maîtrise d’Excel, Word et PowerPoint;
- Expérience dans le secteur des voyages d’agrément, un atout.
- Vaccination contre la COVID-19
