SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Superintendent, Mill Operations.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the Superintendent, Mill Operations, will ensure that the overall responsibilities and operational aspects of the Seabee Mill Operations Department is achieved with the highest standards of safety & production playing an integral part in the attainment of required standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safety leadership for a culture of safety and health of all employees working in and or with the Mill Operations Department.- Lead the team in achieving Mill Operations targets consistent with corporate objectives.- Ensure training and compliance requirements are achieved for all crew members.- Develop and ensure operating systems are consistent with maintenance and project objectives.- Create a culture of operating excellence, performance, and implementation of best practices.- Identify and implement technological opportunities for continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.- Responsible for Mill Operations budget and spend.- Coordinate and collaborate with department leads to accomplish operational objectives.- Oversee refining and pouring of gold bars, manage safe transport.- Responsible for accurate reporting to all stakeholders regarding mill operations.- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all Mill Operations areas.- Responsible for all matters relating to personnel recruitment, development, and corrective action.

Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Solid commitment to safety.- Strong leadership, management, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Knowledge of processes and equipment used in the recovery of gold.- Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with the utmost professionalism, discretion and confidentiality is essential.- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest.Your Education and Experience:
- Minimum ten (10) years’ progressively responsible experience in a mill operations environment.- Previous supervisory experience.- Recognized post-secondary degree in Engineering is considered an asset.

This position has a schedule of 14 days on, 14 days off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, P
