HAZUKIDO is a world-renowned bakery brand from Taiwan built on the Shokunin spirit of Japan, using only the finest ingredients to offer the highest quality croissants and other premium baked goods and drinks. **HAZUKIDO Union Station **is located within Canada’s busiest transportation hub in downtown Toronto - this store location resides within a shopping, dining, and cultural destination under one iconic roof attracting over 300,000 daily visitors. **What is the position?** **Key Responsibilities**: - Support all bakery operations, including production, sales, and customer service. - Monitor and analyze bakery performance to identify areas for improvement. - Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers. - Train and manage staff, including performance management. - Develop and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure consistent operations. - Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper ordering of supplies and ingredients. - Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic bakery environment. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. **Qualifications**: - At least 3 years of experience in retail/food management, including experience in production, sales, and customer service. - Experience in leading and developing a team in a "hands on" fast paced food-production environment. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Knowledge of baking principles, techniques, and equipment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs. - Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines including knowledge of ESA, Occupational Health and Safety, and WSIB regulations. - Bachelor's degree in business management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. - Must be a team player, self-motivated, results driven and works well under pressure - A growth mindset and strong accountability in personal performance and continuous improvement. **What’s in it for you?** - Competitive pay package. - Gain valuable work experience, leadership capabilities, hard skills, and soft skills in a well-organized professional environment. - Clear growth opportunity to advance your career with us. - Direct access to coaching, referral, and assistance from the Managing Partners who have over 15+ years of corporate and business experience. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time **Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - Store discount Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: - Tips **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Retail management: 3 years (preferred) - Baking: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
