Spectrum Catering provides premium food/beverage/event services for corporate, social & special events. From breakfast to late-night snacks and everything in between, we represent a modern twist on traditional comfort foods. Our commissary kitchen and mobile food trucks prepare the finest foods to be served throughout the GTA.

We currently have an opportunity for a **Junior Events coordinator**. The position is Part-time. The schedule is somewhat flexible but day, evening and weekend availability is required.

**Coordinating Skills**:

- Plan menus, floorplans and budget proposals
- Develop existing and new clientele
- All phases of operation for event design, including; planning and expenditures, budgeting, costing and sales reporting
- Track and Log all inquiries, create files and schedule correspondence
- Liaison between client and catering company; provide customized client quotes
- Coordinate event specifications including Maps, Production Schedules and Menus
- Ensure strong client relationships and satisfaction are maintained
- Conduct site inspections and prepare floorplans
- Ensure strict compliance with Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations
- Manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant and cooperative work environment
- Ensure compliance with current public health regulations.

**Sales Skills**:

- Sales and Marketing development
- Solicit prospective customers
- Sourcing, contacting and securing new clients
- Connecting with existing clients
- Social Media development

- Assist with special needs
- Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations

- Significant use of memory & mapping skills

**Requirements**:

- Valid G licence and comfortable driving company vans
- **Own vehicle (to get to work)**:

- Public Transportation is not an option
- Must Speak/Read/Write in fluent English
- Must be comfortable with long hours and Physical labour
