**ON-SITE REFRIGERATION JOURNEYMAN WITH A-GAS TICKET**

Your position as the on-site HVAC technician will be to maintain the HVAC equipment to mitigate downtime by a thorough, consistent preventative maintenance with a schedule for planned repairs and replacements. You will be working with the facilities maintenance team in scheduled maintenance and planned shutdowns as to not interfere with production timelines and goals. Your partnership is key to maintaining this facility at its peak performance. This is your building to maintain at a high standard while cooperating with the facility maintenance team while having continual communication and support from the Mikkelsen office.

**Position Duties**:

- Have a thorough understanding of the HVAC systems and impact to the business operations
- Daily check in with Maintenance Manager upon arrival and review any outstanding work orders
- Morning walk through of facility to assure all HVAC equipment is operational
- Check and complete any new work orders from the Maintenance team
- After work orders are complete, continue with ongoing preventative maintenance of all HVAC equipment as outlined in the tasking schedule
- Test and inspect equipment for potential failures and proactively note what will need to be repaired or replaced to the Maintenance Managers attention for planning purposes
- Set up deep maintenance schedules during shutdowns, organizing sub trades and lining up the repairs to be done with labor help from Mikkelsen
- Complete annual fire inspections
- Have a good understanding and document the current condition of the equipment
- Equipment consists of MUA’s, RTU’s, Unit Heaters and tube heaters

**Qualifications**
- REFRIGERATION JOURNEYMAN WITH A-GAS TICKET
- Scissor lift and Boom lift training
- Fall protection awareness training
- Knowledge of building systems including mechanical/electrical/ and HVAC
- Good written and verbal communication skills Safe use of all protective / barrier equipment as required by the facility
- Exposure to loud noises and ability to concentrate in a busy environment
