RVS issituated on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta including the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Pikuni), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney), and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3.
The Opportunity
These positions do not qualify for benefits or sick leave.
Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment
Routine cleaning
Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
Keeps assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
Demonstrated pride in workmanship
Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation
Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
Positive references
Education/Experience
Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
Certifications from cleaning organization is considered an asset
Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered
Knowledge/Skills
Basic knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with mínimal
supervision
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Pre-employment Requirements
Proof of qualifications/education as required by the position
