**Position Summary**

As a hairstylist at **Illum Salon and Spa**, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair styling services while ensuring a positive experience for clients. Your core skills in customer service, communication, and product knowledge will be essential in maintaining a welcoming environment. You will also utilize your upselling abilities to promote products and services effectively. With a Red Seal certification, you will bring a high level of expertise to your craft. Additionally, your relevant skills in retail sales and front desk operations will enhance overall client satisfaction and contribute to the success of our salon.

**Qualifications**
- Junior or Senior level experience in hairstyling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in various hair styling techniques and sanitation practices
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively
- Experience in retail sales and front desk operations
- Knowledge of current hair trends and styles

**Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients by understanding their hair styling needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of hair styling techniques, ensuring high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and drive sales.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing retail sales.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
