**Responsibilities**
- Address market analytics challenges, including time series forecasting and data integration, and analyze large datasets.
- Conduct research on commodity markets in North America and internationally, contributing to market insights.
- Assist with migrating data and code to the Databricks platform and build forward supply and demand balances for strategic decision-making.
- Work with teams across the Commercial Organization, including Trading and Business Development, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Use tools like Power BI, RStudio, and Gitlab to build dashboards, perform statistical forecasting, and improve data visualization skills.

**Skill/Competencies**
- Must be able to quickly grasp new concepts, especially in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Ability to work with complex datasets, perform time series forecasting, and analyze market data.
- Able to take risks, make decisions, and focus on getting projects across the finish line without requiring perfection.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and pressure, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications**
- Available to begin work in May 2025 for 8-12 months.
- Previous experience using SAP would be an asset.

**Education**
- Must be enrolled in a **business degree focused on Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance**major at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
- Preference will be given to third
- and fourth-year undergraduate students, as well as master's students, who have experience in commodity trading.
