Lakeside Villa Resort, an upscale boutique motel nestled in the picturesque town of Penticton, is revolutionizing the motel experience into a luxury retreat. With our 16-unit all-suite offerings, we pride ourselves on setting the benchmark for cleanliness and guest service. As we gear up for the bustling summer season, we are on the lookout for a detail-oriented, motivated **Front Desk Agent/Room Attendant **(Extraordinaire) to elevate our guest's experience. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Front Desk**:

- Deliver exceptional customer service, managing the check-in and check-out process for guest rooms and Nordic Sauna experience with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Handle guest concerns with empathy and efficiency, ensuring their stay is memorable for the right reasons.
- Create a engaging personable arrival & departure experience while providing a seamless experience for all guests.
- Allowing your personality to shine - happily & politely assist guest’s with making reservations, along with communicating to guests leading up to there arrival day with us.
- Maintain accurate records, including billing and reservations, to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
- Serve as an Ambassador for Lakeside Villa, embodying our values and commitment to excellence in every interaction.
- **Housekeeping**:

- Perform thorough cleaning duties for guest rooms, public areas (including Nordic spa), ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Adhere to departmental standards, consistently delivering professional, friendly, and engaging services.
- Promptly respond to guest requests for items such as extra towels and toiletries, enhancing their stay with personalized attention.
- Identify and report maintenance issues to maintain the pristine condition of our suites and facilities.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service role (customer/guest facing)
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is highly beneficial.
- High school education preferred; however, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, pushing, and extended periods of standing and walking.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
