Located in both Canada and the USA, Owais Rafique Marketing Inc is a bespoke agency that is redefining industry standards. We specialize in food & product photography, videography, and branding for the hospitality industry, and offer a suite of services meticulously designed to elevate brands' visual presence. We are known to create mouth watering content for numerous luxury hotel brands and top restaurants in the city. We are on track to continue the growth of our audience & clients. Because of this, we are looking for a superstar to continue building and maintaining our strong online presence, fostering engagement, and driving results.

We're seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager on a contract basis. This is a **part-time **position, approximately 5 hours per week, with the potential for growth as our team expands.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage and curate engaging content for our agency's social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions from followers.
- Conduct competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Continually evaluate best practices based on metrics and reporting and explore new channels to enhance our overall social media strategy.
- Attend industry events when needed.
- Attend photoshoots when possible to capture content.
- Create engaging and tailored content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X. This includes Instagram story design, basic graphic design and social media video editing.
- Working within the existing brand and keeping a keen eye for process improvement that will facilitate the creative work
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on social media performance metrics to continuously optimize content and strategy.
- Collaborating with the Team to ensure social media efforts align with overarching marketing goals and campaigns.
- Managing your workflow and timeline to produce high quality work on time and on scope.

**Is this you?**
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms for a creative agency.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and English writing skills.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively, bringing fresh ideas and approaches to social media campaigns.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience analyzing online engagement data and reports.
- Proven ability to successfully represent a strong brand guideline and brand voice.
- Experience working within a similar audience (ideally in hospitality).
- Familiarity with paid advertising on social media platforms, including the ability to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns effectively.
- Understanding of basic search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Available for occasional travel.
- Located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

CA$35/hr - CA$50/hr, based on experience.
