Claims Creation Specialist - FT/Permanent (Work from ANYWHERE in Canada)
Overview
Under the supervision of the Claim Creation Supervisor, with broken line to IMS and RPA group, the Claim Creation Specialist supports the national operations to ensure that new claims are set up, inquiries and all system components are addressed daily. The Claim Creation Specialist is also responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and internal / external customers.

Key Performance Factors:
- Create and build relationships within IMS- Meet or exceed set up timelines
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Triage new claims and ensure they are set up daily.- Provide policy wordings on each new claim to the handling adjuster.- Address inquiries from internal and external customers.- Work in conjunction with other departments to support client needs.- Data integrity functions (daily opened report, CAT data integrity).- Communicating with IT to ensure that all aspects of client account set up are in place.- Communicate with RPA group to ensure all aspects of RPA are working accordingly- Participate in cross training for account set up.- Assist with providing training to new hires or other internal customers.- Complete any miscellaneous project work.- All other duties as may be required, from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Insurance industry experience / exposure preferred.- Previous experience / exposure to desktop adjusting an asset.- Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service / support role required.- Exceptional MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Strong computer skills with an aptitude and ability to learn new software / databases.

- Environment/Working Conditions:
- Ability to work from home.- Shift hours within 8 a.m.8 p.m. EST.- Positive team dynamics.- All prospective employees must pass a background check.
