**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible **Summer Day Camp Coordinator** to join our team in North York. In this role, you will supervise and lead fun, age-appropriate daily activities for children aged 5-13, while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. You will also support administrative duties, weekly planning, and field trip coordination.

*Note: 30 minute breaks will be taken but not paid

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead activities including crafts, swimming, outdoor fun and etc.
- Create and manage weekly schedules
- Supervise campers and maintain a positive, safe environment
- Complete administrative tasks such as copying, printing, and document organization
- Plan and supervise off-site field trips and transportation
- Manage daily sign-in/sign-out for campers and staff
- Communicate clearly with parents and camp staff
- Maintain consistent health and safety protocols

**Qualifications**:

- Must be between 16 to 29 years old (as per funding requirements)
- Experience working with children (ages 5-13) is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain before camp starts)
- Enthusiastic, dependable, punctual, and adaptable

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-07-07
