Position Overview:
Reporting to the Technology Planning Supervisor, the Technology Implementation Planner will execute on the technology solutions implementation projects and the connectivity roadmap. The Planner will work directly with the regional branches to connect the customer assets or deploy technology solutions.

This position requires a strong planner to rapidly achieve wide scale connectivity to enable the technology based services and solution business and offerings applicable across the core markets of Construction, Mining and Power Systems.

**Job Description**:
Major Job Functions:

- Responsible for determining the number of assets needed to be connected by region and by branch, and the communication of this information to branches required to execute work
- Enable rapid expansion in connectivity
- Define and execute the detailed installation schedule, determining the number of assets to be connected by region and by branch, and the communication of this information to branches required to perform the work
- Work with customers to manage the scheduling of; installation, activation, subscribing, commissioning and training
- Work with FINCA service excellence to understand current services processes and leverage these to achieve connectivity targets
- Build a process to notify business areas of the incoming service work required
- Work in conjunction with the business to implement connectivity solutions to ensure objectives are met for connecting, reconnecting and sustaining the connectivity of assets as part of Finning’s Get Connected
- Accountable for ensuring the correct parts for the installations of assets are on order, in stock and allocated to the appropriate branches
- Communicating with Cat as it relates to any issues associated with connecting assets and maintaining connectivity
- Reporting of all connected assets and the progress of the connectivity project
- Work with the regional branches to assess capabilities and availability
- Working with the Connectivity Manager and FINCA training group to develop internal service and external customer training plan and programs
- Collaborate with peers in UKI and SA to maximize the global solution

Specific Skills:

- A process and technology mindset receptive to new products and offerings
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed operational and service work targets
- Ability to execute a large-scale project plans comparable in scope to establishing and maintaining connectivity for 10,000s of pieces of equipment
- ERP experience
- Service administration
- Scheduling, coordinating or dispatching experience
- Well-developed internal and industry networking capabilities
- Detail focus
- Spreadsheet management
- Performance tracking and reporting

Accountability:

- Meet or exceed performance targets
- Deliver the regional connectivity plan and schedule
- Execute on large complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Yearly, quarterly, monthly and ad hoc status reporting
- Establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with Finning Canada organization

**Experience**:

- Experience in planning or scheduling
- Ability to build close working relationships with the business in order to collaboratively achieve organizational results
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Data base systems experience
