**Job Information**

Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a team-player to help us promote high quality products as well as ensure that our products comply with North American food safety standards.

**Position Summary**:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant reports to the QA Manager and is responsible for providing food labelling and compliance, and administrative support to ensure that the department is operating in an effective and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities**:
Food Labelling & Compliance:

- Support the development of food product.
- Develop, review, and update quality assurance document and current product labels to compliance with Health Canada and CFIA regulations, including nutrition facts table, list of ingredients, front-of-package nutrition symbol, etc.
- Artwork and Label Check.
- Collaborate with vendor and other departments in an efficient and timely manner.

Administration support:

- Create and update project trackers.
- Maintain regulatory affairs-related documents, e.g., certificate of analysis, etc.
- Track Progress and Timelines
- Ensure food safety documents and certificates are updated accordingly.

Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements/ Must-Haves**:

- University degree in a related discipline, Food Science, Quality Assurance, Nutrition, Science or College Diploma in Regulatory Affairs or Quality Assurance.
- Knowledgeable in Food and Drugs Regulations, Canadian Food Labeling Regulations, and requirements.
- Experience with Food Labelling and Food Safety reviews.
- Experience with data entry.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Detail oriented with good organizational and prioritization skills.
- Meeting and exceeding time sensitive deadlines.
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong sense responsibility, self-motivated and ability to work with mínimal supervision while actively participating in a team environment.

**Assets/ Nice-to-Haves**:

- French and Chinese are an asset
