ANIDA is hiring someone with strong interpersonal skills who is passionate about connecting with people to help build relationships with individual donors, businesses, foundations to extend the reach and impact of our Food Bank in Calgary. The Corporate Engagement Intern will work closely with ANIDA’s Donor Engagement Coordinator to support the implementation of the Fundraising Strategy and Communications Plan and ensure that ANIDA’s donors experience a high quality of interaction with the organization. This opportunity will allow youth to enhance their communication, teamwork, leadership, and research skills, all of which are valuable and transferrable abilities across various workplaces.
**The Corporate Engagement Intern will**:
- Research funding sources to support the Calgary Food Bank.
- Support the ANIDA Representatives Program, which aims to engage more donors and have a more potent stewardship strategy.
- Design and conduct donor surveys online and over the phone, collecting information regarding donor satisfaction and needs.
- Perform analytics using donor data from ANIDA’s website, write reports of donor activity in Calgary, and prepare and deliver presentations to the team based on their findings.
- Work to strengthen ANIDA’s public awareness and community partnerships by maintaining existing relationships and seeking out new opportunities.
- Interact with communities and represent ANIDA among public officials, businesses, other agencies, news outlets, and the general public.
- Liaise with ANIDA’s Media and Communications Coordinator to develop content marketing for ANIDA’s monthly Donor Newsletter.
- Explore new opportunities with community partners.
- Create awareness around the Calgary Food Bank program and its fundraising activities.
**Applicants should meet the following requirements**:
- Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations or other related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build rapport with all employees.
- Has a computer they can bring to the office to work on.

**Duration**: June 6th - August 1st (2 months)
**Employment Type**: Full-time (40 hours/week)
**Hourly Wage**: $16.75/hour
**Shifts**: Shifts will be 9 hours and will be between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm with the exception of Wednesdays. Wednesday shifts will be between 8:00 am - 9:30 pm. Fridays will be 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the summer.
**Location**: Based in Calgary. This placement will be a hybrid. The intern will be in the Calgary Food Bank on the days of the food bank service and work the remaining days remotely.
