**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience.

Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of the restaurant. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
- Manage seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating outstanding guest services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with guests and staff.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service principles is highly valued.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are key attributes for this role.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
