Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician works directly with our Quality Assurance Person (Manager) to assist in daily activities. This is a 3-6 month contract position with the potential of being a full-time team member. Must be available for full-time hours from Monday to Friday with availability to work weekends as required.

**Qualifications**
- Background in QC and QC related activities
- Post secondary education
- Valid Heath Canada Sercurity Clearence would be an asset

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Dyma is seeking an entry level QC assistant to help with the day to day activities within the facility.
- Assist in the review of batch records for both processing and manufactured goods
- Complete in process checks of manufactured items daily
- Weight verification and calculations during the receiving and shipping activities
- Inventory verifications of both cannabis and non-cannabis products
- Assist with crop harvest and general plant maintenance throughout the growing cycle
- Assist in room clearances and room turnovers to ensure all SOP is being followed
- Assist with SOP review and modifications when needed
- Assist with the development of work procedures
- Daily scale calibrations when needed
- Review of incoming packaging material
- Additional duties will be required at the discretion of the QAP and management team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- quality assurance: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Health Canada Cannabis Security Clearance License (preferred)
