Shop Attendant/automotive Detailer

Dartmouth, Canada Portland Street Collision Full time

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Detail vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair.
- Perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required. Daily removal of cardboard, metal, plastics and other debris as required.
- Wash vehicles before and after the reparations required.
- Manage work assignments to achieve targets set out by production and parts efficiency manager.
- Ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, to reduce and eliminate re-work and warranty claims.
- Review repair orders to work as efficiently as possible.
- Constructively seek opportunities to provide feedback on repair orders to reduce costs
- Other related tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- High school or college automotive body repair diploma.
- At least 1-3 years of detail experience with basic knowledge of the collision repair industry
- Possess a valid drivers' license.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
