One is to develop and deliver meaningful, innovative and engaging educational programs that teach essential life skills and create a positive impact on program participants, their families and their communities. The other is to engage in practices and actions which have a positive impact on human society and on the natural environment.

Extra Ed is currently seeking an energectic, creative, and dependable Sewing Club Leader to lead groups of school aged childten in lunch time and after school clubs.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead groups of students from kindergarten to grade 8
- Create curriculum to provide engaging lessons in the art of sewing to create designs students will love
- Create a supportive, responsive learning environment

**Requirements**:

- Experience with different sewing techniques, expert in sewing life skills, and implementing basic functional techniques
- Teaching experience is an asset
- Training, experience and awareness of teaching accommodations for students with behavioural, communicational, intellectual, physical, or multiple exceptionalities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional and punctual

**Details of work and Compensation**
- Part-time position, flexible schedule.
- Great pay - top of the industry

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50.00-$80.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
