The Accounting and Administrative Assistant is responsible for the Accounts Payable, reception & administrative duties as well as internal company events.

Accounting responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following functions:

- Enter and post invoices into accounting software (perform 3-way match)
- Enter and post monthly credit card transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare the monthly vendor payments

Administrative duties will include but are not limited to the following duties:

- Carry out normal receptionist duties including answering and dispatching all incoming calls, receiving all visitors coming to the office
- Prepare Purchase Orders
- Organize and maintain office supplies
- Primary liaison with various service providers
- Office tasks : filing, faxing, scanning, preparing mailings, printing & binding documents
- Assist with organizing internal events

Knowledge and skills:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable & General Accounting Procedure.
- Proficient in data entry, organization and administrative tasks
- Experience in GMP/GPP environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, QuickBooks
- Understanding of accounting/bookkeeping workflow
- Fluent in spoken and written English and French (essential)

**Job Type**: Part-time
