Food Service Solutions is a company of experienced chefs who have lived the life and walked the walk. We are Canada’s leading distributor of commercial kitchen equipment. Our team is dedicated to providing solutions for operators and chefs through consultation, ideation and equipment implementation.

**The Role**

Food Service Solutions Inc. has an immediate opening for a **Summer Student** in the Parts and Service team. If you are team player, have good computer skills, have a positive attitude, and are willing to go the extra mile for customers we would like to hear from you.

**What you will do**:

- Answer customer calls and complete the customer intake forms
- Follow-up communication with customers until service tickets are resolved
- Dispatch follow up
- Invoicing
- Place parts orders for customers
- Assist with any other service department function to ensure excellent customer service

**Skills Required**:

- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Previous experience using an ERP system or ability to learn quickly
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
- Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
- Effective listening and good oral and written skills
- Food Service experience is advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-06-02
