Key Responsibilities:

- **Load Booking and Coordination**:

- Book loads for auto part shipments using portals like Load Link, DAT, RXO, NLM, 3PL, Expedite, Ryder, and Active Arrow.
- Strong in TransPlus Fleet Manager
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor shipment progress and address any issues that arise during transit.
- **Carrier Management**:

- Identify and vet prospective carriers to build a reliable network of service providers.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to optimize costs and ensure service quality.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure consistent and reliable service.
- **Client Communication**:

- Gather information from clients to understand their shipping needs and requirements.
- Provide clients with shipping quotes and updates on shipment status.
- Advise clients on potential supply chain issues and offer solutions.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, carrier contracts, and client communications.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the booking and transportation process.
- Work with carriers and clients to address delays, damages, or other concerns.
- **Technology Utilization**:

- Utilize logistics portals and transportation management systems (TMS) to manage bookings and track shipments.
- Stay updated on new features and best practices for using these portals effectively.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in load booking, freight brokering, Majorly Autopart Shipments or logistics is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics portals and TMS.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

- **Location**: Onsite
- **Hours**: Full-time, with occasional overtime as needed to meet shipment deadlines.
