**Position: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (in-office)**

**Purpose of the Role**
To attend at the office to provide full overflow administrative support to all departments within the firm, act as the primary receptionist, produce quality work and superior customer service to clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage a multi-line phone system and field incoming calls (screen and direct calls as necessary); take and relay messages
- Provide information to callers, greet persons entering organization, direct persons to correct destination and make beverages for clients
- Answer queries from clients, staff, associates and partners
- Tidy and maintain the meeting rooms, reception area and kitchens
- Receive, sort and scan mail and deliveries
- Provide administrative support as needed to lawyers and assistants (including but not limited to; filing, opening files, closing files, binding, collating, accounts, legal assistant tasks, etc.)
- Back-up assistants that are out of the office
- General administrative duties, including scanning, filing, photocopying, scheduling appointments, and other duties as assigned
**Education/Skills, Knowledge and Abilities/Attributes**
- One or more previous years of experience as a legal assistant in a busy law firm
- Two or more previous years of experience as a receptionist/customer service representative
- Required to have knowledge and experience working in at least one area of law (i.e. litigation, employment, estates, family, real estate, business, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Calendar, Outlook and Word)
- Solid written and verbal skills to communicate with clients and internal firm members
- Effective skills in handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Detail-oriented individual with a positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Keen eye for detail, professional attitude and confidentiality
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: Up to $40,000.00 per year
