Landscape Installers, Gardeners, Machine Operator

**Available Positions**
- Hardscape Team Members including Installers, Labourers, Machine Operator
- Gardening and Property Maintenance (including mowing) Team Members

**We’re Offering**
- Full-time work Spring, Summer, and Fall - average 45-50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Starting pay above minimum wage and increases based on experience

**Job Requirements**
- Performing physical work outside in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wet)
- The ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work
- Desire to learn new skills and a willingness to follow direction
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in your work
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- Must be a reliable team player, able to work with and without supervision
- Ability to work consistently, work smartly, and be safe
- Good communication skills and the ability to be organized
- Daily record keeping for hours, materials, and site work
- Keep a clean environment at the shop
- Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean
- Conduct daily inspections of tools and equipment, report needed repairs
- **Installers**: 2-5 years experience and/or graduation from an accredited landscape program and photo samples of past work; additional skills or certifications in carpentry, masonry, and machine operation are assets
- **Gardeners**: 2-5 years experience and/or graduation from an accredited landscape program and photo samples of past work; additional skills or certifications in IPM, small engine repair, machine operation, and chainsaw safety are assets
- **Labourer**: Core strength and stamina, and an understanding of the importance of this role to the success of a team
- **Machine Operator**: Operator's ticket and/or equivalent experience; Class 3 driver's license an asset

**Job Scope**
- **Construction**:

- Excavation and base preparation
- Installation of retainer walls, patios, walkways, driveways
- Installation of calliper trees and lawns
- Preparation of garden beds
- Drainage and re-grading
- Brush and tree clearing
- Materials delivery
- Preparation for electrical and irrigation
- Assisting maintenance as required
- **Maintenance**:

- Weeding
- Pruning and shearing
- Fabric and mulch installation
- Light tree trimming
- Installation of plant material from plug size to calliper tree
- Mowing including ride-on, push, and string trimmer
- Lawn remediation
- Installation and maintenance of potted annuals
- Bulb planting
- Application of amendments
- Harvesting and transplanting
- Assisting construction as required

**You Must**
- Have a Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Reliable daily transportation to and from work
- Covid-19 and Tetanus Vaccines
- Own and wear CSA-approved work boots, gloves, and rain gear
- Abide by all Company Policies and our Code of Conduct
- Abide by Health and Safety guidelines and regulations
- Be Bondable
