We are a steel building material manufacturer making steel studs, tracks and trims to frame commercial buildings. The business has been established since over 35 years and is still growing today. We are looking for a experienced Forklift Operator.

Regular job hours from Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Report any faulty equipment, damage to racks, or other potential safety hazards
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Strap skids, secure bundles to safely store and ship
- Pick orders from inventory using purchase orders from clients
- Attend certification refresher courses
- Maintain a clean work area
- Analyze production schedules to determine movement, deliveries, and material requirements
- Consult and coordinate with manager, employees, other departments, and equipment manufacturers regarding loading and unloading operations
- Prepare, present and/or approve bill of ladings
- Check in and approve new shipments
- Perform quality checks
- Rotate stock so oldest products are first picked
- Be alert of other employees in the work zone
- Unload finished products from production lines
- Move different sizes of material in a tight space area
