**POSITION OVERVIEW**

This position is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process of liquid concentrate fire retardant; shipping & receiving of finished goods and raw materials at the Perimeter Solutions, Sturgeon County, AB facility.

**This position is seasonal full-time from March/April to September/October 6-8 months**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Assist with Manufacturing, QC tests, recirculation, loading retardant/foam onto tankers and inventory management of products.
- Primary responsibility for grounds maintenance and cleanliness.
- Operates and maintains gas/diesel powered and electric pumps in accordance with Safe Work

Procedures.
- Responding to early or late callouts, standby rotation (cell phones supplied)
- Extended work periods are to be expected during fire season (April to September).
- Perform activities such as, but not limited to product maintenance, attend meetings, uploading data etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid class 5 driver’s license or equivalent required.
- Mechanical background or aptitude (asset)
- First Aid Certificate, WHMIS, TDG and Confined Space Entry (asset)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work with mínimal to no supervision.
- Organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT & ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- Experienced Equipment Operator (i.e., RTFL, Forklift, Aerial Platform) (asset)
- The nature of our business may have periods of high pressure-shipping products at short notice.
- Can be physically demanding, lifting weights up to 50lbs, repetitive motion, working outside.
- Periods of sedentary activity such as sitting at a desk or computer for up to 2 consecutive hours at a time
- Outside work includes moving hoses, equipment, and long periods of standing and or walking.
- Regular periods of kneeling, climbing, and using stairs.
- This role requires working outside in the elements; however, work will be suspended in the case of unsafe weather events.
