To continue our journey forward, we are looking to onboard **Network Security Specialist**. We are looking for an energetic person to join the Enterprise Security department to support our cybersecurity policy support for a broad range of needs, including Assessment & Authorization, system risk analyses, and cyber security best practices.

**What will you be doing in this role?**
- NETWORK SECURITY GOVERNANCE_
- Develop, maintain, and improve existing/new security technologies, processes and governance to effect proactive security monitoring/detection capabilities.
- Gather and understand network security requirements, controls, policies, and threats by consulting with other internal security experts, 3rd party sources, and suppliers on current and future threats, mitigations, and services
- Lead the identification of opportunities and development of recommendations to eliminate risk, improve service capability, and reduce cost
- Create network security technology infrastructure architectures in support of business and technical initiatives
- Supply thought leadership regarding network security hardware and software technologies and infrastructure architecture
- Verify appropriate security solutions are developed and implemented for network infrastructure components
- Assist in the development and enforcement of hardware and software standards appropriate for the network security environments
- NETWORK SECURITY OPERATIONS_
- Provide global operational ownership for network security infrastructure & operations (firewalls, proxies, content filtering, load balancers, VPN gateways, IPSEC, SSL/TLS, IDS/IPS), enforcing standards, policy compliance and running day-today operations.
- Network security design, configuration, testing and preventive measurement on infrastructure
- Enforces security governance by monitoring and administering security technologies (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Web-Filtering, NAC, WAF, Load Balancers and Proxies)
- Provide periodic vulnerability testing, and lead remediation projects
- Demonstrate best practices in network documentation as required
- NETWORK SECURITY AUDIT_
- Create technically detailed reports based on findings of intrusions and events
- Perform assessment and analysis on anomalous network and system activity
- Audit network security tools for misconfigurations and other inefficiencies or redundancies
- Deployment and configuration / optimization of network security audit tools

**What will you need to succeed in this role?**
- 3 years of experience in Network administration
- 3 years of experience Network Security
- 3 years of experience in Cloud Security
- Hands-on experience with SD-WANS, VLANS, NSGs, VNETS, TCP/IP protocol stack, Azure cloud, Palo-Alto network tools, Cisco routers/switches, NG Firewalls, WAFs, PCI-DSS network segmentation, Zero Trust Network architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs.
- Team player with a positive attitude.

NOTE: This is a hybrid role that includes the flexibility to work remotely, but also regular in-person meetings in our Cambridge facility is expected (twice a week).
