**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Paint Line Supervisor, the Paint Line labourer is responsible for the accurate and timely loading and/or unloading of parts from the paint line.

**Responsibilities**
- Load parts to the paint racks per the production schedule.
- Verify that each rack has a full load of parts; notify supervisor of any damaged or sub quality racks for repair
- Unload parts and inspect per quality standards.
- Notify supervisor of unusual defects. Perform work safely using all required safety equipment and perform all necessary clean-up activities during and at the end of the shift. Sweep floor of work areas.
- Make sure that area is free of personal items. Perform other tasks as requested by the Supervisor.
- Clean machines, related equipment, and work areas, using water, solvents and other cleaning aids.
- Transfer completed items or products from lines and unload carts
- Paint small items and perform touch-up painting, using paint brushes/spray can.
- Tighten/Loosen ratchet type strapping equipment
- Use simple measurement tools i.e. tape measure

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
- Previous manufacturing experience considered an asset.
- Very good physical condition and strength.
- Ability to do basic addition/subtraction to count parts.
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.

**Scope**:

- Full time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
- Rotating day and afternoon shift
- Overtime as required or offered

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $21.84 per hour
