St. John's Academy Shawnigan Lake is a growing International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP) for students in grades 4 to 12. Our picturesque campus on Vancouver Island fosters a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that supports academic excellence, character development, and global citizenship. With specialized programs like our Football Academy and Pathways Academics, we strive to offer unique learning experiences that empower students to transform their communities and the world.

**Title**:Admissions Manager**

**Reports to**: Head of School

**Remuneration**: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD, commensurate with experience, annual salary, lunch provided when on shift, RRSP contributions, Extended Medical & Dental package

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and families, offering guidance and information about our academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and campus life.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop outreach strategies to attract local, national, and international students.
- Assist in the organization of admissions events such as open houses, campus tours, and recruitment fairs.
- Maintain and update admissions records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in the student database.
- Liaise with the Academy Director to support admissions for the Football Academy and other sports programs.
- Contribute to the development of scholarships and bursary opportunities to support diverse student recruitment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- 2-3 years minimum experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field; experience in an independent or international school setting is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. As the first point of contact for many families, your ability to build trust, foster relationships, and represent the school with warmth and professionalism is essential.
- Experience with international student admissions and/or sports admissions is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for education and commitment to the values of the International Baccalaureate programme.
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends for admissions events or tours.
