Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 600 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets.
Reporting to the Director of Construction and Development, the **Facilities Coordinator** will be responsible for various administrative tasks required to effectively support the maintenance team. To succeed in this position you must have prior experience in a Facilities Coordinator role, be able to motivate team members and assist with various maintenance duties including general repairs when needed. You must be a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
**Work Schedule: This is an on-site role Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM - 3:00PM**

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize, prioritize and delegate tasks to the Maintenance and Custodian teams;
- Track, address and distribute service requests in a timely manner. Must present strong ability to assess and prioritize the urgency of incoming service requested from all departments.
- Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, electrical and security systems)
- Schedule and organize activities that take place outside the building, such as proper waste disposal, recycling, snow removal, gardening, etc
- As required, assist Maintenance Lead with site inspections and service shutdowns during renovations and facility modifications. Assist with coordination between the Maintenance lead and the contractor.
- Maintain an updated record of invoices from external partners
- Track supply and material inventories;
- Order equipment, tools and supplies methodically for both the maintenance and custodian teams based on companies needs;
- As required, verify invoices, and participate in budget planning, acquisition of material, services and equipment needed for the Maintenance and Custodian departments.
- Conduct market research and compare costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors
- Participate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures related to facilities logistics, service maintenance and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Custodian team Leads in creating department weekly schedules;
- Verify both departments hours for payroll;
- Prepare and review various reports that allow for proper tracking and monitoring (ie.Inventory tracking, Car logs, Attendance review,etc)
- Seek ways to innovate and optimize old methods and practices;

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of DEC or DEP in the trades industry (construction, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years work experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of facilities management operations
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including G-Suite and Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software;
- Bilingual (French and English) and must be 18 years of age or older;
- Ability to lift and move objects as required and stand if necessary for extended period of time;
- Proven experience in maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting and renovations (an asset)
- Competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc.(an asset)
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Professional presentation and attitude
