Connect with our guests and deliver key messages that help captivate customers into believing in the potential of New Brunswick wines." **Responsibilities of a Guest Experience Expert**: - Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that promotes NB's wine culture and leaves our guests feeling inspired - Share the stories behind our wines, including our history, people, philosophy, vineyard, and cellar practices, to enrich our guests' experience and deepen their appreciation of our products. - Help guests find the perfect wine to complement their meal by listening to their preferences and suggesting pairings that suit their tastes - Provide outstanding customer service that not only enhances our guests' experience, but also leads to increased wine sales - Lead tours and tastings for both public and private groups, as well as other unique experiences that showcase our wines and our brand - Use reservation management software to coordinate guest experiences, while also answering questions and managing inquiries from potential visitors - Keep our tasting rooms, storage areas, and washrooms clean and organized, ensuring that they are always ready to welcome guests - Assist with special events such as private dinners, media tastings and others - Representing Magnetic Hill Winery at external winery events when needed - Looking sharp and professional every day, while still being approachable and friendly **A day in the life**: - Welcome guests with a smile and guide them through the check-in process, making them feel at ease and excited for their experience - Help guests navigate their tasting experience by suggesting wines that suit their preferences and dietary needs, and transmitting their orders to the bar and kitchen - Serve drinks and dishes with care and attention, ensuring that guests receive everything they need to fully enjoy their experience - Share your knowledge and passion for our wines by pouring and describing them in a way that is both informative and fun - Stay up-to-date on menu items and changes, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly - Create a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork and fun, while also providing exceptional service to our guests - Encourage guests to purchase our wines by showcasing their unique qualities and offering suggestions for how to enjoy them at home - Upsell where appropriate and educate guests on where they can find our wines, both locally and online - Prepare and present our small cheese trays and wine flights with care and attention, creating a beautiful and delicious experience for our guests - Facilitate a seamless checkout experience using our POS system, making sure that guests leave feeling satisfied and happy - Keep our spaces clean and organized, including washing and polishing all glassware and setting up for daily operations and special events - Performs opening and closing duties - Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary **Preferred**: - Bilingual (French and English) or multi-lingual - Love dogs (Magnum and Brix our Australian Shepherds are around for lots of cuddles) - High school diploma or GED **What you bring**: - A love for wine - Able to work well with others and can also get things done solo, all while producing great results.
