Currently, recruiting for the position of Sales/Service Representative out of our Silverhill Branch. This full-time position offers the opportunity to sell Sylvite solutions, products and services to our growers in the East. **Sales and Service**
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Actively participate in continuous learning opportunities for sales, seed, and crop protection
- Effectively present, promote, and sell Sylvite products and services to existing and prospective grower customers
- Provide solutions to customer needs including soil samples, fertilizer and crop protection recommendations, field visits, etc.
- Help achieve business goals
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Coordinate sales effort with team members
- Maintain a high-level of business ethics
- Support the success of the sales team
- Participate in industry associations, attend related conferences, building network of customers, suppliers and partners.
- Passionate about Agriculture
- Self-Starter; Develop, prospect, & qualify new sales
- Ability to work as a team; Co-ordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
- Manage Change and Innovation
- Strong Communication Skills
- Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills
- Maintain Strong Relationships

**The Right Experience**:

- University degree or College diploma in agriculture, environmental sciences, business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Open mind to new concepts and processes.
- Ability to utilize and understand the use of technology on farm.
- Sales Experience is preferred, customer service skills are an asset
- Experience in Agriculture is an Asset
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification or willingness to obtain certification in the future.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Langton, ON N0E 1G0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- agriculture industry: 1 year (preferred)
