We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Yard Associate to join our team during the busy season. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a Seasonal Yard Associate, you will be responsible for but not limited to, maintaining equipment rentals, assisting with bulk products, maintaining organization in the yard, assisting customers, managing transactions, and supporting various operational tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries while providing product information and recommendations, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Load and unload products into outbound and inbound vehicles.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when needed, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management; including unloading product as needed, restocking and organizing merchandise, inventory count and prompting management when stock is low.
- Prioritize and focus on scheduled maintenance routines for equipment rentals; ensuring equipment is clean, fueled, charged and logged for next booking.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and objectives during peak seasons while working as a team player.
- Assist with Nursery upkeep including but not limited to watering and moving products.

**Skills**
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be customer-oriented, with a positive attitude and a reliable, collaborative team player.
- Experience with landscape, hardscape, nursery and forestry is a plus.
- Experience operating equipment such as a forklift and skid steer preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently.
- Experience in cashiering and cash handling procedures is preferred but not required.
- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions.
- Be self-motivated and able to work individually or with a team.
