**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care day-to-day. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that all pets receive the attention, cleanliness, and comfort they need while staying with us. This position requires a love for animals, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain cleanliness of the clinic by performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Assist with animal restraint and care as directed by veterinary staff.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff.
- Support in maintaining accurate records of animal care and health status.
- Occasionally assist with customer service duties, including greeting pet owners and answering questions about services offered.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required; a passion for animal welfare is essential.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$22.98 per hour
