We have an exciting opportunity for a **Recruitment Specialist** to join our HR team in our Head Office in Halifax, NS The position will be based in Halifax, with the opportunity to work from home on occasion. **Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and complete end to end recruitment processes by navigating potential roadblocks and ensuring the recruitment is moving efficiently;
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external job applicants and providing timely status updates;
- Responsible for implementing effective recruitment strategies to create talent pipelines, leveraging Social Media Networks for the company;
- Organize co-op student recruitment, including participating in career fairs and liaising with colleges and universities to develop pipelines for student placements and future new graduate hires;
- Facilitate the immigration process for employees, including understanding their immigration requirements and assisting them in completing and submitting the necessary documents when required;
- Stay in tune with recruitment trends and best practices; and
- Other projects and responsibilities as needed.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**:

- Diploma or degree in a related field and/or equivalent professional work experience;
- 3+ years demonstrated success in recruitment;
- High attention to detail while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality;
- Be a proactive, resourceful and a quick learner; and Proven ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task;

**Assets for the role**:

- Experience in the engineering consulting industry;
- Experience with the immigration process with an understanding of immigration issues and programs;
- Working towards or possess an RPR or CPHR designation.
