The ideal Cost Estimator will work closely with UniUni’s Operations and Finance Teams to assess the cost effectiveness of products, projects, and services and monitor operations financial indicators. From local warehouse management to oversea expansion, the Cost Estimator plays a crucial role in financially supporting the Operations team.

**Responsibilities**
- Collects historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future operations
- Consults with clients, vendors, personnel in departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Prepares estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work
- Analyzes blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
- Assesses cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs
- Prepares estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
- Sets up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
- Establishes and maintains tendering process, and conduct negotiations
- Prepares and maintains a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
- Reviews materials and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components
- Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to reduce cost
- Prepares cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project

**Requirements**:

- 5 years of experience as a Cost Estimator preferably in the logistics industry
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or statistics required
- Fluent in English and Mandarin speaking
- Strong system analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills with estimation software and enthusiasm for actively learning
- Project management, cost control and decision making skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $72,381.00 per year
