To provide assistance to the Warehouse Supervisor in the operations of the receiving and shipping areas. This is a day shift position requiring you to work a working schedule, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with receipt entry by preparing hard copies for the Warehouse Receiver.
- Review receipts and add required note-lines before closing receipts.
- Data entry for returned products
- Print manifests and prepare documentation for transportation service providers and ensure their accuracy.
- Assign doors to drivers while picking up or delivering.
- Contact shipper / receiver when carriers are ready to be loaded / unloaded.
- Maintaining appointments with carriers, both out-going and incoming appointments.
- Other duties as required.

**SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED**:

- Good verbal written communication. Ability to write clearly is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize work requirements within well-defined standard practice and procedures.
- Must be familiar with warehouse operations.
- Good telephone skills.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
Minimum education required:

- Secondary school diploma

Minimum experience required:

- 1 year warehouse experience
