Dental Administrative Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Efficiently manage bookings and recalls using **Recall Max** to optimize the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule.
- **Patient Coordination**: Maintain strong patient relations before and after treatment, ensuring a **welcoming and professional** experience.
- **Financial & Insurance Management**:
- Ensure accurate financial breakdowns for scheduled treatments.
- Process electronic and manual insurance claims using **CDANet**.
- Follow up on outstanding patient and insurance payments.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Manage a **multi-line phone system** and maintain patient contact lists.
- Handle **accounts receivables**, financial records, invoices, and incoming mail.
- Scan, file, and maintain accurate **electronic records**.
- **Office Coordination**:
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Prepare and submit timely office reports as required.
- **Technology & Software Use**:
- Proficient use of **ClearDent** for patient management.
- Advanced skills in **Recall Max** for scheduling and follow-ups.
- Strong computer literacy in **Office 365** (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- **Flexibility**:
- Willingness to **work additional hours if needed**.
- Adaptability to new office technologies and processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
Flexible language requirement:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
